First teaser poster from Pixar’s “Brave” released

Pixar’s “Cars 2″ hits theaters across the U.S. tomorrow (June 24, 2011) and their Summer 2012 release “Brave” is scheduled for release June 22nd, 2012 so it makes sense that we should start to see teasers and early details about Brave starting to come our way about a year before release.

Word is that we’ll see the first teaser trailer for “Brave” debut before “Cars 2″ and it will be online shortly thereafter.   I’ve also heard previously that we should see the first teaser for “John Carter” before “Cars 2″ as well.

Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, “Brave” features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right.
